The Universal Language

We believe that music is the universal language. It's math, communication, culture, and science. Music is emotional, can tell stories, and be poetic. Even greater it's therapeutic and educational; a tool that can stimulate brain growth and learning at any age. Most importantly, it's fun and enjoyable. Everyone loves music, of some kind and in some way.

It's this very belief that pushes us to ask the question "Why is playing music still a skill reserved for so few?" We live in an age where technology can do amazing things and information is everywhere. Now is the time for us to open the doors on learning music.

 Instruments

One of the biggest hurdles to overcome when learning music is getting a reliable instrument to practice on. There are definitely knock off instruments that will not be suitable to learn on. For example there are whole brands of ukuleles that don’t hold their tune. No student will be able to effectively practice on an instrument that sounds bad after a few minutes of playing.

Take Advantage Of Our Experience

Whether you’re new to the instrument or a seasoned player, we are happy to help if you’re looking into a new instrument. We’ll help you no matter what your price range is. We can point you towards great options for your skill and budget, or we can help you determine if the instrument you’ve got your eyes on is worth the price.

Rent To Own From Us

If you’re not sure whether you or your child will stick with the instrument, we will rent you an instrument. We’ll provide you with a suitable instrument with a reasonable payment plan. As long as you’re enrolled in lessons there is no interest/up charge on the instrument itself. If you would like to exchange, or upgrade your instrument we’ll take 50% of the amount paid thus far towards the next instrument.

What Our Students Have to Say...

"Went for my first piano lesson. Loved it ! My instructor was able to teach me so much, even in my first day. He is very professional and polite."

Ana S.

"They were extremely flexible in being able to provide us a timeframe for piano lessons for our daughter, responded back quickly to emailed questions, and my daughter adored her piano tutor. We're really excited to get her started in weekly lessons.

Courtney S.

"The guitar teacher responded quickly, with a reasonable price, and we were able to schedule a trial lesson at a convenient time."

Tasnima A.

"Thus far I am enjoying and learning a lot. Totally recommend you"

Camille S.

"I have taken over a years worth of guitar lessons from American Music Studio and will continue taking lessons into the future. They cater lessons to your skill level and learning style, encouraging you to push the limits and learn more. The instructors are approachable, motivational, personable and experts in their craft. I cannot express how educational and enlightening my experience with American Music Studio has been."

Blake H.

"Awesome experience so far. Really outstanding service."

Danai T.

"My instructor is an amazing teacher and musician. His understanding of musical theory and performance across multiple instruments and styles is essential (especially in our case, with my 8 year old as the student) in educating students properly in their chosen instrument. He is great with children and helping the little guys start from scratch and develop at their own pace, but within a platform that provides support for their development and a path forward to newer and more complicated experiences. Whether your child is the next Eddie Van Halen or just wants a new hobby, AMS will provide them with the tools to take it as far as their natural talent and effort will take them. We couldn't be happier with our experience with AMS."

Paul D.

"My teacher is very knowledgeable about the guitar as well as music in general. He explains in understandable terms and analogies, and makes it fun... He is very organized, and for one on one lessons charges a reasonable fee."

Juliette P.

"American Music Studio has been absolutely fantastic teaching my boys to play the guitar. My younger son, Dylan, began lessons when he was 6 and has been with Brett for 2 years. The progress Dylan has made has been fantastic. Brett is very patient and has mapped out a course for Dylan to succeed. We are so impressed with Brett! My older son, Ryan (age 10) started about six months ago after he saw how well his little bro could play the guitar. Brett adapts his teaching style to each child and makes each lesson fun. He has also found a way to incentivize them to want to progress without having them compete against each other. We are thrilled that our boys love playing the guitar and we credit Brett's teaching with this!"
