Online Voice Lessons

Let's take the pressure off voice lessons!

We all love to sing! Singing is one of the most personal ways to experience music and yet for so many singing makes them so nervous that they won't sing in front of even their closest friends. Even singing for a voice coach is too much for some people. We're changing that with our Online Voice Lessons. Let us help you sound better in your car, at karaoke, or on stage...

How Do Online Voice Lessons Work?

Well first off, as the name implies, online voice lessons are done online which means you can take your lesson wherever you're most comfortable. More importantly you don't have to sing under any pressure. Our online lessons are done weekly via Skype video-call, from the safety of your own home. At the time of your lesson you’ll call in via Skype to your instructor.

What Will you Need for Online Voice Lessons?

Skype

It's Free! Download it from www.Skype.com. There are a number of ways to call in on various devices. However we recommend…

A reliable computer

It doesn't have to be fancy! Most computers have more than it takes. Please position your computer camera in a position that captures all of your posture and technique, not just your face. While in a pinch using your phone can work, you’ll have a hard time positioning the phone in a way that will be effective for you and your instructor. However if you have a good phone stand and mic setup then all you’ll need is…

A reliable wifi/internet connection

Skype is streaming video so it has about the same demand on your internet as YouTube or Netflix. If your internet is slow you may experience poor video and audio quality.  Cellular data is vulnerable to speed dips during busy times or in busy areas. Please use a reliable wifi access point to connect into your call

A digital camera and microphone

Most built-in camera's and microphones, standard on most laptops and desktops, will be fine for your lesson needs. If you're looking to get a little better audio quality out of your recordings reach out to us and we’ll let you know what will work best for your setup. There are plenty of options for Windows and Mac users alike
